Thank you for inquiring about our facility for your upcoming function. Following are some of our terms and conditions should you decide to book your function with us. All of our terms and conditions will be sent to you upon booking your function. Thornberry Creek Country Club does require a signed and dated terms and conditions on file along with the deposit to hold banquet space.
- Thornberry Creek Country Club required that all food and beverages (with the exception of specialty cakes) must be purchased through Thornberry Creek Country Club. All prices will be subject to 17% service charge plus applicable sales tax. All food and beverage are for consumption on the premises only and at the assigned function area.
- Thornberry Creek Country Club will provide the event planner detailed catering contracts and it is their responsibility to review and return the contracts to Thornberry Creek Country Club. If necessary, any changes/or additions should be made no later than seven business days prior to the date of the function, except the final count. Your final count will be due to Thornberry Creek five business days (excluding holidays and weekends) prior to your function. If no final count is submitted, you will be billed for your number expected or actual guest count, whichever is great. Once the final count is given it cannot be decreased.
- Payment for all services is due upon completion of the function, excluding groups with approved credit. The Banquet Representative on duty or Thornberry Creek Country Club catering office will receive payment. We reserve the right to increase food and beverage prices 60 days prior to the date of the function should current market rates dictate.
- Thornberry Creek Country Club assigns all function space based upon the guaranteed number of attendees for a specific event and may be subject to change. Final confirmation of function room assignment will be made upon receipt of the final guarantee.
- Thornberry Creek Country Club will not accept responsibility for any lost, stolen, or damaged merchandise or personal items left on the premises prior to, during, or following any function.
- The even planner must agree to conduct the function in an orderly manner and to comply with applicable laws, regulation, and Thornberry Creek Country Club rules. The even planner assumes full responsibility for the conduct of all persons in attendance and for damage done to any part of the Thornberry Creek Country Club property.
- Thornberry Creek Country Club reserves the right to require a security deposit at the time of booking, as deemed necessary. We also reserve the right to assess charges for damages incurred to the facilities or misuse of equipment during the course of a function. Guest may not stick or attach any kind of sticking adhesives, nails, pins, etc. to any wall, window, or equipment of Thornberry Creek Country Club without prior approval from Thornberry Creek Country Club.
- Any materials shipped to Thornberry Creek Country Club may not arrive earlier the two days prior to the function and may not remain on the premises longer that two days after the function. All materials must bear the name of your group, addressed to the attention of Thornberry Creek Country Club sales and catering office, and shipping charges paid for by the sender. Materials stored on site beyond the above mentioned times, will be subject to a $50.00 per day storage charge.
- A cancellation charge will apply to any cancelled or postponed function space that Thornberry Creek Country Club is unable to resell and/or not cancelled within seven business day prior to function. Cancellation charges will be equal to the room rental rated required for the banquet room(s) reserved for your function.
- Groups requesting tax exemption must submit a document indicating their tax-exempt number prior to the schedule function.
- Thornberry Creek Country Club will help you arrange for audiovisual equipment, as requested, for an additional charge.
- Final menu selections must be submitted four weeks prior to the function to ensure the availability of selection items.
- For functions with a plated menu item selected, there is a limit of three entree choices. We will prepare a chef's choice vegetarian selection upon request. The final count of each menu selection is due to Thornberry Creek Country Club five days prior to your function. It is the responsibility of the customer to establish a coding system that will clearly indicate for our banquet staff which entree each guest will be receiving. The coding system established is due five days prior to your function.
- Thornberry Creek Country Club will schedule a time to decorate the banquet room(s) one week prior to the function date. It is your responsibility to inform your vendors of Thornberry Creek Country Club Terms and Conditions. No crepe paper, confetti, sprinkles, glitter, or potpourri allowed. Band or DJs are not allowed to use fog, smoke, or confetti machines. State fire code prevents us from allowing candelabras or tapered candles without a glass covering. All candles must be enclosed in a glass bowl or other fire resistant container.
- Thornberry Creek Country Club will not assume responsibility for decorations brought into the facility. All decorations brought into the facility must be removed from the banquet room at the end of the function unless you arrange it through the sales office. There will be a $50.00 per day storage fee for any items that are left on the premises.
- Due to the fluctuation in pricing, we may not make a firm commitment until 60 days prior to a function. It is the responsibility of the customer to confirm prices at that time.
- Thornberry Creek Country Club's banquet facilities are NON-SMOKING rooms. Smoking is permitted in the public lounge or patio area only.
- Performances of this agreement is contingent upon the ability of Thornberry Creek Country Club to complete the same and is subject to labor disputes, accidents, federal, state, or municipal regulations, acts of God, and other causes whether enumerated herein or not beyond Management's control that may prevent or interfere with said performance.
- Thornberry Creek Country Club will not serve alcoholic beverages to anyone under 21 years of age. Persons under the age of 21 years with parental supervision will not be served alcoholic beverages.
- Thornberry Creek Country Club reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
- To reserve banquet space, a deposit and a signed catering contract and terms and conditions are required.
